Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) continues routine maintenance and repair work around the island on June 6, 2025.

The team will pump water to the Southeast Peninsula to ensure customers in that location enjoy continuous service. It will also continue its work on the line in Bird Rock that connects the desalination plant to the water tank at Morne Peak.

The team will flush the line that services the rural areas on the west side of the island to mitigate any long-term service issues that debris or silt may present. It will also repair pipes in Conaree, St. Johnson Avenue, Trinity, and Sandy Point.

Customers in these locations may experience service interruptions due to the team’s activities. The WSD apologizes for any inconvenience such interruptions may cause and thanks customers for their patience and understanding as the team works to maintain and improve the department’s infrastructure.

The WSD urges customers to report water service issues to the hotline at 662-4307 and asks customers to visit mopieudt.gov.kn and water.gov.kn, as well as follow the department’s Facebook page for more information.
