Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The Roads and Drains Division of the Public Works Department (PWD) will be engaging in several activities on Thursday, June 19, 2025, as it maintains and improves the island’s roadways.
The team will be trimming hedges along the roadway at the South East Peninsula.
In Half Moon, the team will continue its work to reinforce a section of the roadway that recent rain has undermined.
In Boyds, the team will be working on a retaining wall to strengthen the area’s resistance to degradation from the impact of flooding.
The PWD asks drivers and pedestrians to exercise caution when travelling through these areas.
