Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Thursday, March 13th, 2025, the Public Works Department (PWD) concluded repairs to Lover’s Lane in St. Peter’s, which was previously riddled with potholes, making it inconvenient for drivers to travel on this road. The repair work included removing the previous layer of asphalt, levelling the road, and resurfacing with a fresh layer of asphalt.
The asphalt crew intends to continue working diligently in the area to ensure a smoother and safer driving experience.
The restoration of this road is part of a larger plan to address deteriorating road conditions throughout the island, and citizens of St. Kitts can look forward to more road improvements in the coming months.
