Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Director of Public Works, George Gilbert, appeared on ZIZ Television’s daytime talk show, In Focus, to provide status updates on capital and other projects, and to inform the public about the PWD’s ongoing week of activities (June 17 – June 23, 2024).
During his appearance, Director Gilbert commented on the status of projects for which the PWD has oversight. He also discussed how the 2024 theme for PWD Week underscores the nature of the Department’s daily activities and their importance to the public.
Director Gilbert also listed the activities the PWD has chosen to commemorate PWD Week 2024. Finally, Mr. Gilbert fielded questions from host, Ian Richards, about the support the PWD receives from the Hon. Konris Maynard, Minister of Public Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities and Domestic Transport.
