Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) is continually working to ensure the water infrastructure on the island is adequately maintained.
On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the team will replace connections on George Street (Newtown), establish new connections at Dorsette and Port Zante, and repair pipelines in Old Road, Sandy Point, Dieppe Bay, Frigate Bay, Half Moon and Conaree. In addition, the team will resume work on the Bird Rock desalination line, install an additional meter on Fort Thomas Road and refill a number of open trenches.
The nature of these projects may cause some areas to experience temporary service interruptions throughout the day.
