Basseterre, Saint Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – The Saint Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) wishes to inform the general public that all major punch list items at the Basseterre Desalination Plant, including the bulkhead reinstallation, have been successfully completed. Full operations at the plant have resumed.
As a result, water service has been restored to a consistent 24-hour supply in East Basseterre, Bird Rock and its environs, Frigate Bay and its environs, and Conaree Gardens. Additionally, water availability will be significantly improved at Southeast Peninsula, with increased volumes now being pumped to the area.
The WSD thanks all residents and consumers for their patience and understanding during the period of disruption.
