Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Monday, June 2, 2025, the St. Kitts Water Services Department will continue conducting routine maintenance and repair on the island as we endeavor to boost the water supply.
The team will replace connections on George Street (Basseterre), relocate meters in Newtown Ground, perform cleaning duties at Morne Peak and Mattingley and repair pipelines in Cayon, Parsons Village, St. Paul’s, Conaree, Bird Rock, Shadwell, and Port Zante. Additionally, the team will resume pumping water to the Southeast Peninsula and running the desalination line at Bird Rock.
Water service in these areas may be temporarily interrupted during the day.
