Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Thursday, May 15, 2025, The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) will continue to perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs around the island. As a matter of urgency, the team will focus on repairing ruptured pipes in Bird Rock Commercial Development and Frigate Bay, near the police station.
Customers in nearby locations may experience temporary service interruptions. The WSD sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience.
The WSD reminds the public to report all urgent water service issues to its hotline at 662-4307.
Also in Bird Rock, the team will continue to lay the desalination line, and in Tabernacle and Molineux, it will backfill trenches dug for previous infrastructural work.
The WSD asks pedestrians and drivers to exercise caution when travelling through these areas for their safety and that of its team.
