Date:

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – As the St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) continues its quest to improve the water infrastructure and water service delivery around the island, the team will engage in various activities today.

In Basseterre, the team will continue its work on the desalination line. It will also pump water to the Southeast Peninsula to ensure continuous service in that location.

Elsewhere, the team will clear the Franklands, Greenhill, Milliken, and Phillips intakes and perform routine maintenance on a 6-inch pipe in Sandy Point. The team will also work on cleaning valves at Buckleys and repairing a valve in Lower Monkey Hill.

The WSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience resulting from temporary service interruptions and encourages its customers to keep abreast of developments by visiting mopieudt.gov.kn and water.gov.kn and following the WSD on Facebook.

The WSD thanks the public for its ongoing vigilance in reporting wastage and related service issues to its agents via its hotline at 662-4307.
