Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) organized a health walk on Saturday, March 8, 2025, as activities to commemorate World Water Day 2025 continue.
The approximately twenty-person group departed Caribbean Cinemas at 6 a.m. and headed towards the water tank at Mattingley Hill.
After basking in the sunrise and taking in the breathtaking views of the surroundings, the group trodded back towards the starting point, completing the trek.
On Monday, March 10, 2025, Cromwell Williams, Water Manager and Engineer at the WSD announced that the WSD would host another walk at the end of the month.

Each year, the WSD hosts multiple activities to commemorate World Water Day, including health-related activities for its staff.
World Water Day is March 22, 2025, and its theme is Glacier Preservation.
