Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) continues its work to maximize its delivery of potable water by maintaining and upgrading the island’s water infrastructure while also addressing urgent issues that may arise.
As a critical part of its exercise, the WSD deployed teams to various locations around the island to perform the following tasks on Monday, July 7, 2025:
- Pumping water to the Southeast Peninsula
- Running the desalination line at Morne Peak
- Diagnosing and addressing an interruption in water service at Molphil
- Repairing pipes in Lodge, Molineux, Saddlers, St. Pauls, Sandy Point, and Old Road
- Cleaning the Stone Fort intake
- Landscaping critical sites at La Guerite and the Basseterre Valley
Temporary service interruptions in some areas may result from the team’s activity. The WSD sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused.
