Basseterre, Saint Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – Officials in the Roads and Drains Division of the Public Works Department (PWD) have released the division’s work schedule for Tuesday, May 5, 2026, with three notable projects making the list.
The schedule includes roadwork on New Road Boulevard, which was originally estimated to be completed by May 1, 2026. Officials cited mechanical issues with critical equipment as the cause of the delay and said that crews are working diligently to resolve them while continuing work in the area.
The schedule also includes the construction of a retaining wall in Cayon and work on the PWD compound at Wellington Road, Basseterre.
